FAQS
Got Questions? We’ve Got Answers!
What cocktails do you serve?
We have a menu of Spirited Affairs classics that you can choose from right here on our website. If you have a particular request we are usually happy to oblige and will always discuss options with you when planning your event. You can select a maximum of three different cocktails. (Margarita + Spicy Margarita count as one). We unfortunately are unable to do slushy/frozen type cocktails such as a frozen Daiquiri. Our specialty drinks are Margaritas, Spicy Margaritas, Espresso Martinis, Lychee Martinis, Cosmopolitans, and Mojitios.
What if we want to supply our own alcohol?
This is one of the options we offer and will simply result in a different fee structure. Happy to discuss this when detailing your quote.
How do you charge for the alcohol?
We supply the alcohol and add the costs to the invoice. As standard we will buy all the alcohol, ingredients and garnishes for your cocktails and invoice them with receipts after the event. We leave all leftover alcohol with you or if there is a lot left over or you do not want to keep it we can negotiate us taking the full bottles back and waiving their cost from the receipt.
Do you offer cocktail making classes?
Unfortunately at this stage Spirited Affairs is not equipped to run workshops. If this is an option you are seeking like please let us know, it's very helpful to know what we can be doing to better service our clients.
I have asked for X hours of service, why have I been billed for more hours than that?
As we provide all the bar and equipment, all the ingredients, alcohol, garnishes, glassware, cloths etc and are transporting all of it to your venue of choice we require some hours of prep for each event. This prep time covers shopping, pick up and delivery of glassware, washing and polishing of glassware, prep of garnishes and ingredients, alcohol purchasing and many other little tasks that need to be done in order to bring our best service to you.
What equipment do you supply?
We supply a well decorated bar table setuup, all bar tools, table cloths, tea towels, ice bucket, bins, straws, and a range of aesthetically matched garnish containers. All of this is covered in the $150 equipment hire fee.
What cocktails do you serve?
The number of bartenders is up to you to a certain extent however I have outlined some numbers below. If your event is going to be slow paced we can get by shorter staffed but cocktail making is a bespoke personalised experience and it does take a couple of minutes to prepare each drink. To ensure optimal service I suggest;
0-20 guests: 1 Bartender
20-35 guests: 2 Bartenders
35-55 guests: 3 Bartenders
